This unique Blackout system blocks out 100% of the sun, so your bedroom will be in complete darkness while you sleep. No tiny cracks of sunlight will get through like a blind or a shade would.

Easy To Assemble?
Bedroom Blackout Do It Yourself Kit is an easy to assemble frame that fits into your window recess to block out ALL light from entering, to create a pitch black room.

What is it made from?
The frame is made from a high quality aluminium and covered with quality total sun block fabric. It has a foam edge so it fits snuggly into your window frame to completely block out the sun.

The Bedroom Blackout System is now available in a Do It Yourself Kit that can be made for any size window measuring up to 1800mm x 1200mm.

How do you assemble it!

Bedroom Blackout is now available in a Do It Yourself Kit for any size window measuring up to 1800mm x 1200mm.

Measure – width and height of window
Cut – frame and fabric to size
Assemble – by interlocking frame and fabric together

Must have product for: Shiftworkers, fatigue management, baby rooms, daylight saving and home theatre rooms.

Portable

Bedroom Blackout can be quickly and easily put in and taken out of the window at any time (not permanent).

Reduces heat

Bedroom Blackout insulates against heat that would normally be absorbed through the glass window. Air conditioning units run more efficiently and economically.

Reduces noise

Bedroom Blackout helps reduce outside noise that may disturb your sleep.

Materials

Bedroom Blackout is protected against mould, mildew, bacteria and dust mites (all the major triggers of allergies and asthma). It is covered in a total sun block, ultra violet protected fabric

Bedroom Blackout Pty Ltd was founded by Raz Hingston and his family in 2005. Raz was a shift worker in the coal industry for more than twenty years and after spending a majority of that time on night shift he recognized the need for a product to help people sleep during the day. Over the past four years Bedroom Blackout Pty Ltd has helped thousands of people improve their quality of sleep and in turn their quality of life.

What is the difference between Bedroom Blackout, Tin Foil and Black Plastic?

Bedroom Blackout gives a total blackout of light coming through the window and can be taken out of the window in seconds when not required. Tin foil and black plastic does not give 100% light blockout and cannot be removed easily. Bedroom Blackout gives the flexibility of light when you want it and dark when you need it during the day

What is the delivery time?

Between 1 and 2 weeks.

How long does it take to install?

Once the Bedroom Blackout is put together, it’s placed into the window frame.

Are there any permanent fittings?

No. Bedroom Blackouts hold themselves into the window recess and are not attached to anything.
